John Heyman is responsible for operational management at Unisys University including the creation and deployment of content to Unisys employees. This includes management/maintenance oversight for Unisys University’s Percipio Learning portal, the learning management system utilized by Unisys. He manages both the vendor relationship as well as the team that supports the learning portal. He is also responsible for the third party content purchased by Unisys and the custom content Unisys University develops for its employees and he manages UU’s team of content developers. 

In addition to his LMS responsibilities, John also manages the certification prep programs offered by Unisys University to the employees at Unisys and works with his support teams to build learning programs designed to support preparation for certification exams. Other key responsibilities associated with this role include working with internal trainers to offer certification training when needed, partnering with certification vendors where appropriate and also to provide funding for and access to the certification exams upon completion of the training. Another important element of this role is to manage the external learning process used by Unisys to provide funding for all training not offered internally; the key element of this program is to maximize the funding available to employees who have to go outside the organization for the training needed to prepare for certification exams as well as for the exams themselves.
